In 2019, the list of highly cited scholars in China was released, and the chief expert of academician workstation of our company was selected again

On May 7, Elsevier officially released the list of highly cited scholars in China in 2019, with a total of 2163 domestic scholars selected. It is reported that a total of 289 people from the Chinese Academy of sciences have been selected, ranking first in each unit. Tsinghua University ranked the second, 143. Peking University and Zhejiang University ranked third and fourth respectively, with 107 and 97 elected respectively. Among them, Professor Xu Zhenliang, chief expert of Shanghai Lianjing academician expert workstation, was selected again.

 

The selected scholars were distributed in 38 different subjects, including 190 in materials science, 42 in material mechanics, 180 in chemistry and 101 in chemical engineering.

 

Elsevier's list of highly cited scholars in China is based on Scopus database (the world's leading citation index of peer-reviewed abstracts). Scopus is the world's leading peer review Citation Database launched by Elsevier Ltd. It contains over 24000 journals from more than 5000 publishers worldwide, including 730 Chinese mainland journals, about 9800000 academic conference papers, 220 thousand books, and 44 million patent information from 5 global tertiary institutions. It covers natural science, technology, engineering, medicine, social science, art and humanities.
